Create a delicious fall charcuterie board with a baked brie pumpkin surrounded with seasonal ingredients.
- 1 Round Brie Cheese
- Phyllo Dough (1 sheet)
- Grapes
- Apple or Pumpkin Butter
- Bread
- Crackers
- Nuts
- Craisins
- Chocolate Bar
- Sage Leaves
- Gourds or Pumpkin
- Pumpkin Seeds
- 1 egg (optional for the brie pumpkin)
Bake your Brie Pumpkin
Thaw your Phyllo Dough for about 20 minutes. Place a spoonful of your apple or pumpkin butter in the center of the sheet of dough and place your brie round on top.
Fold the dough around the brie and press the edges together. You may want to cut off the corners of the dough to make it easier to fold.
Flip the brie and dough over and tie 3 pieces of twine around the dough to form the ridge of the pumpkin.
Options - brush with an egg wash and bake for 20 minutes at 350 (or until golden). Add a safe lead as the stem once the pumpkin has cooled.
Assemble the board
Place your brie pumpkin on your board and lay the ingredients out around the cheese. Place your food in groups or rows and break up colors, textures and taste to add interest.
Garnish with seasonal decorations and sage leaves and serve immediately.
