Soften the butter.

Choose a small to medium charcuterie board and smear the butter onto the board. You can also use parchment paper to put the butter on the board. I lke to use a spoon to spread the butter as it adds a nice texture to the board.

After you have the butter spread over the part of the board you want, spread some maple syrup over the board. You can either mix in the maple syrup or spread it on top.

Sprinkle the walnuts and dried fruit of top of the butter and season with salt before serving.
