How to Assemble your Valentine’s Day Jarcuterie

It’s best to put something in the bottom of your jarcuterie to fill the space. Begin by putting the the trail mix in the bottom 1/3 of each jar.

Next place the pretzel rods into the trail mix. This will help to hold things in place and add vertical interest.

Place 2 chocolate covered pretzels and one or two chocolates in each of the jars. Add the raspberries and then put the toothpick with the strawberry into the jar. Serve your jarcuterie immediately or keep in the fridge until ready to serve.

Tips for Making and Serving a Jarcuterie Board

1️⃣ Choose the Right Container – Use small mason jars, clear cups, or festive paper cones for a practical and stylish presentation.

2️⃣ Start with the Heaviest Items – Place solid items like cheese cubes, crackers, or sliced meats at the bottom to prevent delicate ingredients from getting squished.

3️⃣ Use Skewers for Easy Eating – Add items like meats, cheeses, fruits, or olives to skewers for a neat, layered look and easy snacking.

4️⃣ Balance Sweet and Savory – Include a variety of textures and flavors, such as cured meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts, and chocolates.

5️⃣ Incorporate a Pop of Color – Use vibrant ingredients like strawberries, raspberries, or colorful veggies to make your jar visually appealing.

6️⃣ Don’t Forget Dipping Options – Include mini jars of dips like hummus, chocolate sauce, or honey on the side for an extra touch.

7️⃣ Keep It Fresh – Assemble your jars just before serving or store them in the fridge to keep ingredients fresh and delicious.
