Ingredients for this Mac and Cheese Charcuterie Board

To make this delicious board you will need to do 2 things: cook mac and cheese and assemble your ingredients.

For this board, I prefer to make stove top mac and cheese instead of baked mac n cheese. There are many delicious recipe for stovetop mac and cheese, one of my favorites is at Joy Food Sunshine. You can make this in advance or make it so it is piping hot and ready to serve with your board.

Next you will need to gather and cook your other ingredients. Here is a list of what I used for this board:

  • Chicken – sauteed on the stovetop
  • Ham – cubed and warmed
  • Breadcrumbs or crackers
  • Shredded cheese
  • Sausage Pieces warmed
  • Bacon
  • Broccoli
  • Cabbage – cooked with some spices
  • Tomatoes

You can easily adjust this list to other favorite ingredients based on your own preference or dietary needs.

Assembling your Mac and Cheese Board

Start by cooking your mac and cheese. While the noodles are cooking begin to cook and assemble your toppings.

Here is a list of what I did:

  • Cut up and cooked sausage
  • Cut up and cooked chicken on the stovetop (you could also grill this)
  • Cooked Bacon
  • Crushed crackers
  • Cut up and cooked Ham
  • Steamed Broccoli
  • Cooked cabbage with some oil and garlic

Once you ingredients are prepared, put each ingredient in its own bowl. It’s possible to place these ingredients on a board directly, but I found it easier to put it all on a bowl to make it easier to serve. Try to serve up the meat and other ingredients as warm as possible!
