Just in case there was any question – fall is my absolute favorite time of the year! The colors, the scents, and all the amazing foods bring the season to life. Living in New Hampshire with a big garden, we love to serve our own food when we celebrate, but you don’t need your own harvest to create an amazing fall charcuterie board.

This fall charcuterie board is simple and full of fall colors. We bought all the ingredients for this fall charcuterie board at our local Market Basket, and you can pretty much find what you need wherever you shop. You can see everything we did to create our festival fall board below!

How to Make the Perfect Fall Charcuterie Board

This is an incredibly easy charcuterie board to make and there is very little preparations besides cutting up some cheese, placing some items in bowls and laying things out on the board – which makes it perfect for entertaining. I seriously put this entire charcuterie board together in under 20 minutes, and if you use even fewer ingredients, you could probably assemble the entire board in just 10 minutes.

A key component is to also add some decorative fall items. I added a few gourds to the board, you coul also use a small pumpkin, or some fall flowers to add a nice color pop. When you lay out your board, start with these decorative items as they ground the board, and you can build the board design from here.

Ingredients for Your Fall Charcuterie Board

When selecting the ingredients for your fall charcuterie board, choose a variety of sweet and savory foods and think of foods that represent the harvest such as orange carrots, yellow tomatoes and maybe even some colorful candy corn.

Assemble Your Fall Charcuterie Board

Once you’ve got your ingredents and supplies together, it’s time to assemble your charcuterie board. Start by laying out any decorative item and then place any bowls on the board. I used a medium sized board to put together this fall charcuterie board, but you could also make a much smaller and simpler board, or make several smaller boards.

Place the Ingredients in groups on the board

Once you have youyour primary items placed on the board, you can start to add some of the smaller items. Since both carrots and tomatoes roll, you should place them carefully, or put this into a space inside your charctuerie board. You can either cut the cheese into bite sized pieces, or put the cheese out on the board with a knife for cutting.

There are so many ways to actually design this charcuterie board. You can lay out all the ingredients in different patterns, place things randomly over the entire board, or group things together. The board looks best when the ingredients are mostly covering the entire board.

And that’s it! This board is so easy to make and adds just the right amount of fall fun to your next gathering. There is just enough variety whether you are looking for something salty or sweet.
