10 Halloween Snacks to Add to a Charcuterie Board

Halloween is such a fin time to make a board and serve up silly, scary and absurd food. I’ve put together 10 different foods that per perfect to put together on a Halloween Board for an appetizer, Halloween Party or to have on hand for trick-or-treating. These 10 Halloween snacks are easy to make and just plain fun.

Apple Monsters: cut your apple into wedges and remove the center. cut a small wedge out of the apple. Fill the mouth with peanut butter. Add googly eyes and the ends of candy corn to make the teeth.

Cucumber Ghosts: These are easy to make! Simply peal the cucumber and cut them on an angle in large slices. Use a straw and cut three holes for the eyes and mouth. You can do this with other veggies as well.

Hot Dog Mummies: Wrap hot dogs in strips of puff pastry. Bake hot dogs until the puff pastry is golden brown at 350 degrees.

Single Eyed-Peppers: Start with small peppers and simply add one googly eye to each pepper.

Banana Ghosts: Peel a banana and cut it in half. Put raisins in for the eyes and mouth

Witch Brooms: Cut a string cheese in half and stick a pretzel in the end (you may need to make a hole in advance. Cut the end of string cheese into small shreds/pieces

Ghost Cookies: purchase ghost cookies, or make these fun little cookies. Start with Milano Cookies, add some icing and put on some chocolate chips.

Oreo Spiders: This Oreo spider is so cute. Add some googlie eyes and then use icing to make the legs right on the board.

Clementine Pumpkins: Peel oranges or pumpkins. Add a stem (you can use pretzels, pepper stems, or anything else that makes a pretty stem) Serve them up on a board for maximum fun.
