How to Assemble this Fruit Shortcake Charcuterie Board
Start by cutting all the fruit into bite sized pieces. Put the whipped cream and chocolate chips in small bowls.
Lay out all the ingredients on the board in groups or rows. Remember that the fruit may make the cakes and waffles wet if they are right up against each other.
Serve this board with small bowls or plates and forks/spoons.

Tips for Serving Your Fruit Shortcake Board:
- Keep fruit and cakes separate to prevent sogginess—group fruits near bowls or add parchment paper if needed.
- Use small bowls for whipped cream, chocolate chips, or other toppings to keep things tidy.
- Offer a variety of serving utensils like mini tongs, spoons, or spreaders for easy access to each component.
- Provide small dessert plates or bowls so guests can build their own shortcakes.
- Consider dietary needs—offer a dairy-free whipped topping or gluten-free shortcakes if needed.
- Add a drizzle option like honey, chocolate sauce, or fruit compote for extra indulgence.
