Ingredients for this Bunny Caprese Board
The ingredients for this board are simple, so it’s worth investing in the best ingredients. Since tomatoes aren’t always in season at Easter I recommend sticking with cherry tomatoes in a variety of colors.
- Burrata (4 Balls)
- Cherry Toamtoes
- Basil – fresh
- Salami (just a bit for the ears)
- Pepper corns
- Balsamic to drizzle on top
- Fresh mozzarella balls for the tails and ears (you can also use other cheese slices for the ears)

How to Make this Bunny Caprese Board
Select a board or platter for this board that has edges to keep the tomatoes from rolling around.
Start by laying the 4 balls on your board to make the Easter Bunny bodies.
Cut cheese to shape the ears and if needed the tails. Cut salami pieces to be just smaller than the cheese ears.
Lay these on the bunnies and then add pepper for the eyes and nose. You can also add a little salami to make the bunnies mouth.
Next cut up the tomatoes into easy to eat pieces and slice the basil. Mix this around the bunnies on the board and drizzle on some balsamic.
While this is served as a charcuterie board, it makes a great salad and can be served up as part of the main meal.
This Easter Bunny Burrata Board is a celebration of spring flavors and seasonal fun. Whether you’re hosting a large family gathering or a casual Easter brunch, it’s a light and tasty option that brings charm to your table.
Tips for Serving and Assembling:
- Use the freshest ingredients you can find—quality burrata and ripe cherry tomatoes will make all the difference.
- Choose a platter with edges to keep everything in place, especially the round tomatoes.
- Assemble just before serving so the cheese stays fresh and the basil doesn’t wilt.
- Offer small tongs or serving spoons so guests can easily scoop up their bunny and caprese salad portions.
- Customize your board with extras like arugula, mini mozzarella balls, or even crostini on the side.
This board is sure to bring smiles and make your Easter gathering even more memorable!
