How to Make a Personal Pancake Breakfast Mini Board

Some breakfasts deserve to feel a little more special. This personal pancake breakfast mini board turns an ordinary morning into something a little more memorable without adding any extra work. Instead of piling everything onto a plate, arrange your favorite breakfast foods on a small serving board for a fun and inviting presentation.

Mini breakfast boards are perfect for slow weekend mornings, birthdays, holidays, brunch, or even a simple weekday breakfast when you want to make the morning feel a little more exciting. They’re also a fun way to encourage kids to eat a balanced breakfast by giving them a variety of foods to choose from.

What’s a Mini Board?

This board is part of our mini-board series where we create personal sized mini charcuterie boards. These are perfect for an individual meal, as a small individual board for a party or just a fun afternoon snack. What is a Mini Board?
A mini charcuterie board is simply a smaller, single-serving version of a traditional charcuterie board. Instead of a large communal platter, each person gets their own curated little spread — their own cheeses, their own crackers, their own little bites arranged just for them.

Mini boards are perfect for:

- Solo meals and snacks when you want something special without making a full spread

- Individual party servings so guests have their own portion — no double dipping, no sharing required

- Themed occasions like brunch, movie night, date night, or game day

-Portion control when you want a satisfying, balanced meal in a contained serving

- Kids and picky eaters who love having their own personalized plate

Ingredients for a Pancake Breakfast Mini Board

The key to this board is – pancakes! You want to start by making small pancakes. These are easiest to put on a small board and fun to add syrup and berries. Cook up a few breakfast sausages, add some yogurt and you’ve got yourself a perfect breakfast. This is exactly what I put on this small board:

  • Pancakes
  • Raspberries
  • Blueberries
  • Maple Syrup
  • Yogurt
  • Breakfast Sausage

How to Assemble Your Breakfast Mini Board

Start by placing a small bowl of maple syrup on one side of your board. Arrange the pancakes next to the syrup so they’re easy to dip.

Next, add the breakfast sausage and a small bowl of yogurt. Fill the remaining space with fresh raspberries and blueberries, keeping similar ingredients grouped together for a clean, organized look.

If you have any open spaces, tuck in a few extra berries or another pancake to make the board feel full and inviting.

Serve immediately while the pancakes and sausage are still warm. If you’re making boards for several people, prepare all of the ingredients first and assemble each board just before serving.
