Best Ingredients for a Santa Charcuterie Board

You can use many ingredients on your Santa charcuterie board. The important ingredients for this board are a round of brie cheese, strawberries and/or raspberries and mozzarella balls. These ingredients are used to make the santas face, the beard and the Santa hat. Below are the ingredients we used for this board:

  1. Chocolate Covered Pretzels: Sprinkle the board with chocolate-covered pretzels to add a sweet and salty crunch, reminiscent of holiday treats by the fireplace.
  2. Mozzarella Balls: Arrange these bite-sized mozzarella balls as snowy accents and santas beard and hat, bringing a mild and creamy texture to contrast the other bold flavors.
  3. Green Grapes: Nestle clusters of green grapes to evoke the colors of Christmas and provide a refreshing burst of juiciness to balance the richness of the cheeses and meats.
  4. Kiwi: Introduce a touch of vibrant green with sliced kiwi, offering a tropical twist amidst the wintry flavors for a surprising and palate-cleansing element.
  5. Brie Cheese Round: The brie cheese round serves as the centerpiece, representing Santa’s round face.
  6. Pomegranate Seeds: Sprinkle pomegranate seeds like festive rubies, adding a burst of tartness and a visually stunning pop of red to the arrangement.
  7. Salami: Artfully fold or roll salami slices
  8. Strawberries: Place strawberries strategically to mimic Santa’s hats, creating a delightful combination of sweetness and a festive red hue.
  9. Pickles: Add pickles for a tangy and crunchy element, bringing a zesty contrast that complements the richness of the cheeses and cured meats.
  10. Bread Sticks: Arrange bread sticks.
  11. Cheddar Cheese (Cut into Wedges and Stars): Transform cheddar cheese into whimsical shapes like wedges and stars, or use honeydew melon for an alternative star shape, offering a sharp and bold flavor to the board.
  12. Cherry Tomatoes: Place cherry tomatoes strategically as vibrant “ornaments” on the board, adding a burst of freshness and a burst of red that ties into the Christmas color palette.
