Ingredients for an Italian Charcuterie Chips

  • Chips (I used wavy Cap Cod Chips)
  • Salami
  • Ricotta Cheese
  • Tomatoes
  • Shredded Mozzarella

How to Assemble

  1. Lay the chips – Spread wavy Cape Cod chips (or any sturdy kettle chip) across a serving platter or board.
  2. Add the ricotta – Spoon small dollops of ricotta cheese over the chips.
  3. Top with salami – Slice the salami into bite-sized pieces and scatter them evenly on top.
  4. Add the tomatoes – Use halved cherry or grape tomatoes for freshness and color.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella – Finish with a light layer of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Serve immediately for the best crunch, or lightly broil for a minute or two if you’d like the mozzarella to melt.

What is a Chip Charcuterie Board?

A chip charcuterie board—sometimes called charcuterie nachos—is a playful twist on a traditional charcuterie spread. Instead of serving meats and cheeses with bread or crackers, the toppings go right on top of crunchy potato chips. It’s a casual, shareable snack that brings the same flavors you love in a fun and approachable way.

Tips for Serving

  • Keep chips crisp: Add toppings just before serving to avoid sogginess.
  • Mix textures: The ricotta adds creaminess while the salami and tomatoes bring bite and freshness.
  • Customize the flavors: Swap salami for pepperoni, or drizzle balsamic glaze for extra Italian flair.
  • Make it a spread: Pair these with your Brie & Fig or Goat Cheese Chip Boards for variety.
