A smoked salmon board is one of my favorites – it works for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and even a list meal. You can combine smoked salmon with so many other ingredients, although the classic pairings, like cream cheese and capers, are often the best. I made this Simple Smoked Salmon Snack Board for a pre-dinner snack and served it up with some thinly sliced bread for the perfect snack.

Ingredients for a Simple Smoked Salmon Snack Board
Here’s exactly what I used to build this board:
- Smoked Salmon
- Lemons
- Dill
- Capers
- Cucumbers
- Cream Cheese
- (now shown) Something to serve this with: sliced bread or crackers

How to Assemble this Smoked Salmon Snack Board
The key to this board is simplicity. Start with your smoked salmon on a small board. Roll your smoked salmon into fans or roses or at least separate it. This adds more dimension and makes it easier to pick up with a fork or skewer.
Next add some cream cheese to the board.
Follow this up with sliced lemons and cucumbers.
Add capers and fresh dill to the board.
Serve it up with bread and crackers. I like keeping these items separate as they can get wet from the ingredients.
