Preparing the Ingredients
Grilled Peaches
Slice ripe peaches into thick wedges, removing the pits. Brush lightly with olive oil and place on a hot grill for 2–3 minutes per side until grill marks appear and the fruit softens slightly. Let cool before adding to the board.
Cucumber Ribbons
Use a vegetable peeler or mandoline to slice cucumbers lengthwise into thin ribbons. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Chill until ready to serve.
Goat Cheese
Let the goat cheese soften slightly at room temperature for easy spreading. You can serve it as a whole log, in small scoops, or crumbled across the board.
Toasted Baguette Slices
Slice a baguette into ½-inch rounds. Brush with olive oil and toast in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp. Cool before serving.
Prosciutto
Tear or fold prosciutto slices into small, bite-sized portions for easy grabbing. Keep chilled until ready to add to the board to preserve its delicate texture.
Honey Drizzle
Use a small jar or drizzle honey directly over the goat cheese or grilled peaches just before serving. For extra flair, infuse the honey with a sprig of rosemary or crushed red pepper flakes.
Fresh Mint Leaves
Rinse and pat dry mint leaves. Keep them whole for a decorative, aromatic touch, or chop finely and sprinkle lightly over the cucumber ribbons.
Toasted Walnuts or Pecans
Toast the nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3–5 minutes, stirring often, until fragrant and slightly golden. Cool completely before adding to the board.
Radish Slices
Thinly slice radishes using a mandoline or sharp knife. Soak in ice water for 10–15 minutes to enhance their crispness and tame some of the spice, then pat dry.

Tips for Serving your Grilled and Chilled Board
Serve this board slightly chilled or at room temperature for the best texture and flavor. Arrange the components so that guests can easily build their own bites pairing toasted baguette slices with goat cheese, a peach wedge, and a drizzle of honey, for example. For an elegant touch, garnish with extra mint sprigs and serve alongside a chilled glass of rosé or a citrusy mocktail. Prepare the grilled items and toasted nuts in advance and keep chilled or at room temp until just before serving to keep the process quick and stress-free.
