I recently came across a tree charcuterie board online and loved the idea (unfortunately the one on Facebook was AI so I couldn’t replicate it exactly) so I set out to make my own board with real ingredients. This tree of plenty charcuterie board is perfect for Thanksgiving, fall or and time you are entertaining and celebrating the harvest and abundance of the season.
Below I share exactly how to make this tree of plenty board, but you can easily adjust the ingredients and maintain the overall shape.

Ingredients for this Tree of Plenty Charcuterie Board
You can choose any ingredients for this board – but you want to make sure to load it with cheese, fruit, veggies, meat and something a bit sweet! You can also add more savory things like olives and nuts. My focus was to create a bright board with colorful and delicious ingredients.
Ingredients I used:
- Pretzel Sticks (for the base)
- Basil or other leafed plant to create the outside of the tree
- Cheese (gouda, Cheddar and brie)
- Crackers
- Grapes
- Blackberries
- Chocolate
- Strawberries
- Cucumbers
- Carrots
- Salami
- Prosciutto

How to Assemble this Tree of Plenty Charcuterie Board
The key to making this Tree Charcuterie Board is to form the ‘trunk’ of the tree and the outline of the tree branches.
To make the trunk, spread the pretzel sticks at the base and at the top.
Use leaves and create a circle on top of the trunk.
Next fill in the ingredients into the tree itself. Start laying our the large ingredients like the cheese and building around these elements. Keep your ingredients in rows or groups and break up the colors and textures/sizes of the food.

Tips for Serving this Board
This Tree of Plenty board is not only visually stunning but also perfect for a festive fall or Thanksgiving spread. Once your board is assembled, it’s ready to serve immediately, or you can prepare it a few hours in advance — just cover it lightly with plastic wrap and keep it refrigerated.
To make your board even more inviting, consider adding small bowls of nuts, olives, or dips around the tree, so guests can easily grab extra flavors. You can also tuck in extra sprigs of herbs or leaves around the edges for a fuller, more abundant look.
Want to make it interactive? Encourage guests to “pick” items from the tree, making it a fun, edible centerpiece. You can also adjust the ingredients for dietary preferences — swap out cheese for dairy-free alternatives or use vegetarian-friendly proteins for everyone at the table.
No matter the occasion, this Tree of Plenty Charcuterie Board is a showstopper that celebrates the harvest and the joy of gathering with friends and family. Its colorful, layered presentation makes it as much a decoration as it is a delicious appetizer, guaranteeing smiles and compliments from everyone at your celebration.
