What is a Charcuterie Cup?
A charcuterie cup is a charming, single-serving twist on the classic charcuterie board, elegantly arranged in an individual cup, jar, or small vessel. Instead of a sprawling spread laid out on a large board, all of the delicious components, cured meats, artisan cheeses, fresh or dried fruits, nuts, crackers, and sweet accompaniments like honey or jam — are thoughtfully layered and arranged in a portable, grab-and-go format.
These cups are perfect for parties, events, and gatherings, offering guests a personalized and hygienic way to enjoy a curated snacking experience without the need for shared serving utensils. As visually appealing as they are delicious, charcuterie cups have become a popular trend in entertaining, combining convenience with the same gourmet flair of a traditional charcuterie display.
Supplies for Bridal Shower Charcuterie Cups
The first supply you will need are the cups themselves. You can also use cones and colorful cups, but for these bridal shower charcuterie cups you can buy simple brown cups and keep them simple or add a personalized sticker. Make sure that you cups are not too high unless you have a lot of ingredients. I prefer shorter cups.
You can add any ingredients you like to these cups, but this is exactly what we used in each cup (multiply by the number of cups you need to make – figure one per person).
- Strawberry
- Coconut Macaroon
- Salami or proscuitto
- Cantaloupe Ball
- 2 Crackers
- Grapes
- Edible Flower
There are so many beautiful and delicious options to customize your bridal charcuterie cups to fit your theme, color palette, or personal taste. Consider adding cubed or rolled cheeses like brie, gouda, or havarti for a savory touch. Chocolate-covered strawberries or pretzels make a sweet and elegant addition that guests always love. You can also include mini meats like pepperoni roses or folded prosciutto for extra flair. Fresh fruits such as blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, or sliced kiwi add a pop of color that photographs beautifully. For a sweet bite, try adding macarons, truffles, or white chocolate bark. Nuts like candied pecans or almonds add texture and crunch. Olives or cornichons offer a briny contrast to the sweeter elements. Don’t forget fresh herbs like mint or rosemary sprigs, which double as a garnish and give the cups a fresh, finished look. Finally, small honey dipper sticks or jam cups can be tucked in for dipping and add a charming, upscale feel to each serving.

How to Assemble these Bridal Shower Charcuterie Cups
To assemble these bridal shower charcuterie cups, fill the bottom of the cup with grapes. I’ve also used other ingredients for the bottom of the cup such as nuts or pretzels.
Next assemble the rose skewers. For these cups I used salami and prosciutto for the rose with mozzarella and cantaloupe on each side. Adding a skewer or toothpick makes it much easier to pick up. See more ideas for making these skewers.
Then you will fill the rest of the charcuterie cup with the strawberry, cookies, and crackers. Add an edible flower for garnish.
