Whether you’re hosting a party or looking for a whimsical addition to your holiday spread, this board is as delightful to make as it is to enjoy!
Ingredients for a Snowman Veggie Board
This snowman board is based off 3 bowls of white colored dip (to be the snowman’s body). You can use a variety of dips. For this board, I used:
- Ranch Dressing
- Spinach Dip
- Onion Soup Dip (made with sour cream and onion soup mix)
You will also need a few small items to make the snowman’s face and buttons. I used:
- Small carrot slice (for the nose)
- Black beans (for the eyes and buttons)
- Red pepper (for the hat)
- Slice of radish (for the mouth)
One you’ve got your ingredients for the snowman, you will need veggies to put on the board around the snowman. You can use anything you love to dip, but I chose to put only seasonally colored veggies on this board. Here is what I used:
- Carrots
- Broccoli
- Peppers
- Cucumbers
- Radishes
- Snap Peas
- Tomatoes
How to Assemble this Snowman Vegetable Board
To assemble this board, start by putting your 3 dips into 3 small bowls. You can make these bowls the same size or 3 different sizes (with the largest bowl on the bottom). Place these bowls in the center of your medium sized board. Make the snowman’s face, button and hat.
Cut all your veggies into bite sized pieces. Place these ingredients in groups around your snowman. Try to divide up the colors to add interest to the board.
You can serve your board immediately or cover and put in the fridge until you are ready to serve – if you aren’t serving immediately, you can wait to put on the snowman’s face.
